Our commitment is to protect your privacy while providing you with a secure and functional service.
This policy pertains to the account and billing information required for a subscription, as well as the calculator preferences, and report data synced to your account for cross-device access.
Information We Collect
To provide user accounts, cross-device sync, and subscription services, we collect certain information. This data is handled by our application and our trusted third-party platform partners:
When you register, we collect your email address and password (which is securely encrypted) to manage your login session.
If you add branding to your PDF reports, we save your preferences (such as your name, business name, license numbers, and custom logo URLs) to your user profile.
We store your application settings, such as your theme choices, gloved mode state, and customized pipe preferences (such as disabled pipe materials and sizes).
Our payment partner collects necessary billing details (name, address, card info). We do not store or process your credit card numbers on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
The information collected is used solely for the following purposes:

Third-Party Services and Data Handling
We use industry-leading third-party specialists to handle authentication and payment processing securely. We do not store payment card data on our own servers.
(Auth & Database)
We use Supabase to manage user authentication, account databases, user profile settings, and cross-device calculator report syncing. When you create an account, log in, or save a report, you are interacting with the Supabase platform.
(Payment Processor)
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We do not see, handle, or store your credit card details. This information is provided directly to Stripe, which is certified to the highest industry-level of security compliance (PCI-DSS).

Calculator Data & Cloud Sync
To provide a seamless experience, GasCalc allows you to save calculation reports and sync your work across multiple devices (such as your PC, phone, or tablet).
When you are logged into your account, the data you enter into the calculators and your saved reports are securely transmitted to and stored on our cloud infrastructure powered by Supabase. This ensures you can access your work wherever you go.
Strict Association & Privacy
This calculator data is strictly associated with your personal account. It is used solely to provide you with the cross-device sync feature and is never shared, sold, or used for advertising purposes.
If you choose to use the app without an account, your data will remain exclusively in your browser's Local Storage on your current device. You are in full control of this local data and can clear it via your browser's site settings.
Cookies & Session Storage
Our application and Supabase use essential session tokens (cookies or Local Storage entries) to keep you authenticated. These are functional tokens necessary for the service to work and are not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify registered users of any significant updates.
